i give them names, so that someday they will be overanylized. because i think thats funny. i want that to happen. then i can sit and laugh. and only a few will get it. and they will join me. "the execution of august's last dandelion." it's really about having. and not having. first, look at the idea of a weed . which is really just a flower that has evolved to defy most things their environment tries to throw at it. i mean, weeds break concrete. they move cement. now this man, he can pick it. or leave it. picking allows enjoyment immediatly and shortly after the execution. but then, slowly, the flower dies. and he is left to throw it away. to leave it means to enjoy it momentarily and only have it with you briefly. in passing. but others may enjoy it later. until it's final passing. there is a point where one has to decide. the now. or the now now now. as in, immediatly, and no more... or just a little while. there are so many people who have. and there are those who dont have. it s sort of a power trip. in essence you dictate the life of something. you dictated the lives of others if you decide to pick it. because with or without that flower, their lives are different than they were before. it's about having. and not having. and having-a-little-but-wanting-more.
chose who you wanna be.

this is really really cool. a beginning for an art ethic maybe even? or a life ethic but who needs to make a differentiation anyway. i sincerely enjoyed reading this and looking at this painting again
You know, you are a pretty rad lady. If neither one of us is married in ten years? Eh? Eh? Just kidding. Seriously good stuff though. Is that your painting as well?
